Refund policy

Retro Reflections – Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Retro Reflections. We take great care in producing and packaging our products and aim to provide a smooth and transparent experience for all customers.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


1. Returns

We offer a 14-day return period for eligible items. This means you have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and uninstalled

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging

  • The item must be in the same condition in which it was received

  • Proof of purchase must be provided

Returns must be approved before items are sent back. Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error or fault on our part.

A 10% restocking fee may apply to eligible returned items.


2. Bespoke & Custom Products

Many of our products are made-to-order or custom cut, including splashbacks and bespoke mirror tile arrangements.

Because these items are produced specifically to the measurements or specifications provided by the customer, they cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded once production has begun, except where the item is proven to be faulty.

This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which exclude personalised or made-to-measure goods from cancellation rights.


3. Customer Measurements

Where tiles or splashbacks are manufactured using measurements provided by the customer, Retro Reflections will produce the items exactly to the dimensions supplied.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all measurements are accurate and suitable for their installation space before placing an order.

Retro Reflections cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photographs of:

  • The damaged item

  • The packaging

  • The delivery box

Where damage has occurred during transit, Retro Reflections will provide a replacement for the affected item(s) or an appropriate remedy.


5. Exchanges

If an item arrives damaged or defective, we will arrange a replacement of the affected item where appropriate.

Where replacements are provided, this constitutes the remedy for the issue.


6. Installation

Our mirror tiles are delicate products and should be installed by a qualified tradesperson or glazier.

Retro Reflections cannot accept responsibility for damage caused during:

  • Cutting

  • Installation

  • Handling after delivery


7. Antique Mirror Characteristics

Our antique mirror tiles are designed to replicate the character of aged mirror.

Natural variations in tone, foxing patterns, and texture are part of the design and are not considered defects.


8. Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the outcome of the return.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 2–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account.


9. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom cut pieces

  • Made-to-measure splashbacks

  • Bespoke tile orders

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards


10. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your card provider, as processing times may vary
